Holiday Giveaway- Tea Gift Basket

I usually don’t allow for posts that are strictly marketing on Nothing Any Good, unless the author or publisher are willing to pay a nominal advertising fee to help with hosting and the other fees that it takes to keep the site running. I don’t want all of you to find yourselves inundated with boring marketing fluff. (And believe me, it’s boring. Most book marketing is the same old drivel. I’m sorry to say it, but it’s true.) If an author isn’t willing to invest in offer advice and pointers to my readers, then they need to be willing to invest in supporting the upkeep of the site.

The point of the site is to offer support and guidance to those slogging away as an Indie Author. I always encourage authors to provide unique and fresh articles on the experience they have to share. I realize how hard it is to get your name and your book out there, and I have supported a lot of authors in their effort to find readers, both on this site and elsewhere.

Every now and then, however, someone’s marketing efforts are clever enough to pique my interest. Gilian Baker’s efforts for her debut novel in her Jade Blackwell cozy mystery series did just that.

Ms. Baker is giving away a holiday tea basket in anticipation of her cozy mystery novel, Blogging is Murder, which comes out Feb 19. All you have to do to enter to win the tea gift basket is follow Gilian Baker on Amazon. Here is the giveaway entry link: https://giveaway.amazon.com/p/01ec1fc6df35f9c9.

Go for it! Who doesn’t like a nice little tea gift basket over the holidays!?

If any of you are interested in joining the beta-reader group for Blogging is Murder, you can do so for an advanced copy of the book and the prospect of MORE giveaway prizes in the future. You can join the beta-reader group on Ms. Baker’s Facebook page.

Good luck!
